American Girl/Pleasant Company 1987 KIRSTEN doll signed/numbered-original braids
1987 Pleasant Company American Girl Doll Kirsten Signed by Pleasant Rowland #1857. This 18 Kirsten doll is in very good condition. Have the certificate of authenticity or the original box.
Kirstens white body is signed by Pleasant Rowland, dated 1987, and numbered #1857. Her white body has some age spots, which is not uncommon with white body dolls. Her neck strings are long and thin. Pleasant Company is stamped on the back of her neck.Her eyes are a beautiful aqua color. She has been restrung so her arms and legs are tight and will hold a pose.
Kirstens hair is still in the original braids and her original hair rubber bands can be seen under her ribbons. One of the bands may have broke but the ribbons are still holding her hair in place.
She has a few stray hairs and there is a bobby pin holding down a few fly away hairs. I did not do anything to her hair since I wanted to keep her hair as original as possible. Kirstens clothing is clean and crisp. If feels like it is new.
The dress has the original paper tags dated 1986 and it has a few small fade spots it looks as though light was reflected onto the dress while she was displayed, possibly a glass display case? The elastic on the bloomers are stretched out and they have some discoloration and staining. Her bonnet is also included but I did not put it on her for the pictures because I believe that is what caused the stray hairs.
The bonnet is tagged Pleasant Company 1986. All other items are in excellent condition. Please ask if you have questions or if youd like to see more pictures! My home is smoke free and hypoallergenic pet friendly.
