1986/1987 Big Tooth White Body Molly Pleasant Company American Girl Doll with Meet

1986/1987 Vintage Big Tooth White Body Pleasant Company Molly American Girl Doll with Meet Outfit + Accessories. This beautiful vintage doll is from late 1986 or early 1987, according to experts, in the rare "Big Tooth" version, and is a highly collectible white body doll, only made in the early years of Pleasant Company, long before Mattel took over American Girl. Molly is all original, I got her from her original owner who received her as a child, and no repairs or restoration work has been done on her.

She is in excellent condition, particularly for her age, with soft, beautiful hair that's never been cut. There's a bit of dryness at the ends, as is to be expected, but nothing major. Her wig is thinner than newer dolls, consistent with her date.

She has a unique early wig cap and neck stamp that aided in her dating. Molly has no marks on her soft vinyl or cloth body, not even age spots.

One of her eyes is silvered, very common to dolls if this era. Her lashes are soft and full. She has somewhat loose limbs but can stand unassisted. She will come with her original full meet outfit, including her sweater, skirt, collar, bloomers (stretched out elastic), hat, shoes, and socks.

She also has her meet accessories of her purse, handkerchief, coin, locket (unique early clasp), and glasses (with original early elastic string, somewhat stretched). A bonus original hairbrush is also included, though it's dented in on one side.
