18 American Girl Doll 1991 Pleasant Company Samantha Dark Tawny Slate Eyes Meet

18 American Girl Pleasant Company Samantha Parkington Doll. She's been dated at 1991, and is an early transitional tan-body doll with some white body doll features, such as her eyelashes and a special eye color called "Dark Tawny Slate". I got her from her original owner, who took good care of her as a child and now wants her to be enjoyed by someone else. No work has been done to her besides a gentle cleaning of her vinyl and brushing of her hair (dampened with water, using a wig brush only). Samantha has beautiful dark hair, which helped point to her 1991 date. Her wig is original and uncut. It's very full and thick and curly.

Maybe a teensy bit of dryness at the ends, not noticeable. She has the long, white body doll style eyelashes. Eye color has been identified as "Dark Tawny Slate", where the red tones are missing so it's more of a gray shade.

Super hard to picture, though! They open and close as they should. Her limbs are somewhat loose, so you may want to restring them. No marks, stains or anything like that on her limbs or cloth body, though she was played with so may have some shine marks and such. Her neck strings have been cut, but I was able to untie and retie them (checking to verify that she not a fortune cookie). Samantha comes with just her Meet Dress. I do have her hat, brooch (empty), and hair ribbon listed separately if you would you like to bundle.
