Götz used a thicker quality vinyl, which gave their dolls a peachy, healthy completion. These early dolls had (c) Pleasant Company only on the back of their necks; the number 14 was added around 1995 with the creation of the Bitty Baby Collection. This beautiful 15 baby doll came from an adult's collection, and is in excellent condition with no apparent signs of use at all. No apparent rubs on her molded hair (hard to tell for sure on this type of hair). Like anything that is no longer made or available, the dolls produced by Pleasant Company rather than Mattel are very sought after by serious collectors, and are therefore a great investment.
