Sonali's hair is longer & has gentle curls, while this doll's hair is straight. This doll is from mid-to-late 2016 because of her Lilac Meet Dress. She has neck strings and does.

Her lilac meet outfit includes removable pink panties, plus the lilac dress and turquoise shoes that are seen in the photos. A merican Girl still makes #47 dolls, but the quality is not as high.
